Named for its shape and resemblance to a classic vegetable, the Kobi Electric LED Enclosed Corn Lamp offers omnidirectional light dispersion with a high lumen output. This bulb is perfect for replacing high bay, low bay, and HID lighting as well as outdoor post top lighting fixtures, area lights and wall packs. They have an IP65 ingress rating and are suitable for damp locations.

No Ballast Necessary

When replacing a traditional HID bulb with a Kobi Electric Corn Lamp, it may be necessary to bypass or remove a ballast from the existing fixture. The corn lamp operates properly without a ballast and saves the future cost of ballast replacement.

18 Watt Amber Colored Lamp

The 18 watt amber enclosed corn lamp is designed for outdoor use in atlantic coast communities. Many of these communities, specifically in Florida, require amber lights to comply with local and state ordinances that deal with the protection of Sea Turtles and their nesting grounds.
